Forterro named as Tech Company of the Year in prestigious National Technology Awards

European software provider Forterro has been named as Tech Company of the Year, in the prestigious National Technology Awards 2025. Forterro was declared the winner at a central London awards ceremony on 14 May. Other finalists included Featurespace, NetSupport and Nextbase.

Now in its ninth year, the National Technology Awards – organised by National Technology News – are the UK’s most comprehensive celebration of innovation, excellence and impact across the technology sector. Previous winners of Tech Company of the Year include Octopus Energy, OnlineFuels, Sharp UK, and Bamboo Systems Group, placing Forterro in a prestigious lineage of tech pioneers.

This award underscores a year of robust growth and exceptional performance for Forterro, marked by strong results across every key area:

• 94% customer retention and 86% employee retention, both well above industry averages.
• New sales up 24% and cloud sales surged 177%, with strong performance in Germany, France, and the UK.
• Recurring revenue up 17%, and EBITDA grew 12%, exceeding expectations.
• Completed five strategic acquisitions, including AI startup Prodaso and global leader Orgadata.

The company also recently announced a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer its Forterro Cloud Suite on AWS. The Cloud Suite is a major focus for Forterro with the midmarket’s increasing adoption of cloud technologies.

Forterro was also a finalist in another category at the National Technology Awards, Cloud Product of the Year. Its Orderwise Cloud product was shortlisted after a stellar first year, driving digital transformation for hundreds of UK wholesalers, distributors and B2B ecommerce organisations.
